Our Mission
My Child’s Heart Ministry’s mission is to lead children between the ages of 7-12 into a growing relationship with Christ by developing resources that equip, motivate, educate, and encourage parents to become intentional in their child’s spiritual development.
Our Vision
By focusing on helping parents become intentional in their child’s spiritual development, we are striving to bring more children to Christ and into a life long relationship with Christ.
Our Objectives
1. To motivate, equip and encourage parents to make their child’s spiritual development a priority by creating resources that help parents grow in their faith and resources that make it easy for parents to demonstrate and communicate effectively the Word of God.
2. Help parents incorporate the Word of God in their teaching, rebuking and daily instructions.
3. Motivate, equip and encourage children to apply God’s Word to their daily lives by creating resources that are simple, fun and practical.
Why Children Between The Ages 7-12?
* 43% of Americans come to Christ before reaching the age of 13
o People who become Christian before their teen years are more likely than those who are converted when older to remain “absolutely committed” to Christianity
o A person’s moral foundations are generally in place by the time they reach age nine.
+ Most people’s spiritual beliefs are irrevocably formed when they are pre-teens.
# What we believe by the time we are 13 is what we will die believing.
# The reason why Christians are so similar in their attitudes, values and lifestyles to non-Christians is that they were not sufficiently challenged to think and behave differently -radically differently, based on core spiritual perspectives.
Why focus on parents?
We are dedicated to helping and motivating people to study God’s Word. We are excited to bring to you resources for the entire family. We believe that these resources will bring parents and children together to study and discuss the Word of God.
