Godly parenting based on Deuteronomy 6:5-9 starts with us – the parents. As parents, God has blessed us with beautiful children and with this blessing comes a huge responsibility. God has given us the responsibility of showing our children how to nurture a relationship with Him and not the church. As parents, we sometimes pass this responsibility on to the church which grieves God dearly. In this ebook, we will help you take back this responsibility and be successful at godly parenting.

Wouldn't it be great if babies came with an owner's manual? Unfortunately babies do not come with a manual on how to change diapers, how to differentiate between a hungry cry and an I need changing cry, in essence how to maintain them but they did come with a manual on how to raise them. The Bible reveals to us the ultimate parent role model and that is God. When we reflect on His parenting style and study the Bible, we gleam a lot about how to raise our children. So, we are going to learn how to be godly parents by looking at our Heavenly Father and His Word. This ebook will help you to focus on God so that your children will see and emulate your walk with God.

This ebook is designed for your parents to read one chapter a week and execute the chapter recommendations through out the week. Within each chapter are reflection questions to get you thinking about the chapter and the affect it will have on you and your children. Some chapters include writings from me as well other Christian writers. I think it is great to hear more than just my perspective on this subject. I have also included additional writings and audio references of other well known pastors on each topic.
