Curriculum: Let's Talk About Salvation

A Heart 4 Jesus Curriculum has been designed to help churches and schools turn children’s hearts to-ward God. Our Let’s Talk About Salvation study helps you deliver the message of salvation in a child friendly manner. Each lesson starts with the teachers preparing themselves to serve the Lord with our Teacher Devotional. Each Teacher Devotional is tied to the lesson for the day and it allows the teachers to determine where their hearts are on these biblical principles. Our Bible Truths and Memory Verses help children know the Word of God and our Pray Time allows them to develop an intimate relationship with God. Knowing the Word of God is great but applying it to your life is what pleases God. Our Applica-tion Time helps teachers determine if the students understand the Bible truths. It also gives teachers an opportunity to share their Christian walk with the students. Many lessons have exercises that help drive home the Bible truth and show students how this truth will play out in their lives.

When we developed A Heart 4 Jesus curriculum, our goal was to create material that will bring children between the ages 7-12 into a growing relationship with Christ. We know that parents play an integral role in a child’s spiritual development so we have developed the “Take Home” assignment. It encourages the children to share what they have learned about salvation with their parents and it encourages children and parents to talk about their faith and the Word of God. When families talk about their Christian faith, good things happen.

Our downloadable curriculum allows the church to make as many copies needed for its single church use. Not only does the downloadable format give you added flexibility, it also keeps the price low. We recommend that you print the copies in black and white. This material is copyrighted by My Child’s Heart Ministry.

During these lessons, your students will learn that they are sinners but God still loves them, they have to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in order to be saved, they will understand that being saved is more than just saying a prayer and believing that Jesus is God but it requires us to obey God’s rules, and they will learn that they will make mistakes after they are saved and God frowns upon this but He will forgive them when they confess and repent.
