Why A Budget?

• Budgeting allows you to track your monthly expenditures so that you
can determine if your expenses exceeds your income. If your expenses
exceed your income, you will have to make some decisions on how to
balance these numbers. Faith the first step to financial freedom ,
helps you in this area.
• Budgeting helps you live within your means. By examining your
expenses against your income, you will discover some expenses that
are not necessary (a need) but in fact a want. It will make you more
conscious of your spending.
• A budget will identify expenses that can be cut in order:
- To accumulate a 3-6 month emergency savings
- To tithe
- To eliminate debt
- To save for a new home or car
- To invest
- To save for retirement
- To save for any other financial goal
